Design and Furnishings
Italy's furniture and interior design industry continues to be one of the world's most highly regarded and internationally recognized sectors. Italian design boomed in the postwar period, when the country, despite emerging from years of hardship, established itself as one of the world's most influential centers of creativity. Since then, Italian brands have become ambassadors of Italian style worldwide, exporting not only furniture, but also a way of life.
