The Italian aerospace industry remains one of the most significant in Europe and continues on a steady growth trajectory. In 2024 (latest available data), the sector generated €19 billion in revenue, an increase of approximately €1 billion compared to the previous year.

On the international front, aerospace exports reached approximately €8 billion in 2024. The European Union accounts for 40% of foreign sales, followed by the United States with 25% and the Middle East with 15%.
